    Champs Meet Information

    Good morning, Gators!

This weekend is the big SOSL Championship meet! Bring your cap, goggles, and towel as it is sure to be a busy day! Don't forget to RSVP for team dinner by NOON today (7/11).

Location: West Carrollton (Wilson Park Pool)- 1226 S. Elm St., Miamisburg, OH 45449

    1. Please arrive at the pool a few minutes early so your swimmer is ready to go. In water warm ups begin at 7:05 A.M.; swimmers will need to have caps and goggles on and meet the coaches at 6:55 A.M. at the camp area to ensure we are at our lanes by 7:05 A.M. Stretching will move to just before relay line ups (approximately 7:50 A.M.) as there is a bit of time between warm ups and when we actually swim.
    2. For our Championship meet, our team will sit outside the back gate to the pool area. Families can head over to the West Carrollton pool to set up tents for Saturday's Championship meet any time after 7 P.M. on a Friday.(see attached map for where our team camp will be).

Please only set tents up in our team’s designated area & be sure to stake them down, so they don’t go on an adventure in the wind over night. :)
      • NOTE: There is an event downtown on Friday night. Elm Street will be closed at Central and Slonaker. Please see the area marked in red. You will need to find an alternate route when coming for set up.
    3. "Athlete entries" are attached to this email. Heat sheets will be sold in the Championship booklet, the cost is $5 or you can share with a friend 🙂 They will accept cash or Venmo.

Miamisburg and Germantown may park in the grass area near their camp areas that will be marked (entrance off of Wilson Park Dr.). Please do not park in the grass between the park and the pool.

    5. Remember, the entire league attends this meet, so it is a very busy place. The league would like to remind everyone to be good stewards of our team and league, so please make sure to comply with requests of the hosting team. Attached you will find the League Code of Conduct if anyone wants to refresh the expectations prior to the meet.

    6. Additionally, the hosting team would like to remind everyone that no grills (or anything with a propane tank) are permitted at the meet due to fire regulations, the city will be enforcing this.
