2025 Gator Swim Season Welcome Packet Information!
Gator Families,
We are so excited for the upcoming summer swim season! Planning for the season has been underway and we wanted to share some important information with you as we get the 2025 season underway.
Attached to this email you will find:
- The Germantown Gator Handbook
- A Flier of Important Dates & Practice Times
- Volunteer Job Descriptions to help with explaining each position so any worries may be lessened. We are still looking for officials to help officiate our meets, if you are interested please reach out to Alissa at [email protected].
- Volunteer presentation that further explains the various jobs and includes helpful tips.
- SOSL Code of Conduct
- SOSL Website Link (May be helpful for Away meets as the league’s goal is to put an information sheet for each facility to help team’s know protocols [in process])
- Parrot Swimwear Team Suits. There will be a suit try on day on May 29th from 7:00-9:00 P.M. (during evening practices) if you want to check sizes. It is recommended if you choose not to purchase a team suit to make sure your child has a green or black suit for meets as those are our team colors.
- AlleyCat Spirit Wear Information- As a reminder, your child will receive a team t-shirt and swim cap as part of their registration. We will be opening an AlleyCat shop with other Gator items for your family to show their Gator Spirit- more information to follow this week on this in the first Gator Bulletin of the season!

- Volunteer Shift Sign-Ups (early June)
- FAQ for how to register for events for the meet/what events are recommended to start with for new swimmers.

- Weekly Newsletters throughout the season (most likely sent Sunday or Monday).
