Week 3 Gator Bulletin Info- Week of 6/9/25
Gator Families!
Thank you for a great night of time trials on Thursday! We appreciate everyone who volunteered! Hopefully, this was a learning experience for both swimmers and families to understand how meets work and how all the volunteer roles work.
Reminders:
- Pictures are Monday (6/9) at 8:00 A.M., no practices will occur after. We will hand out your swimmer’s team shirt before pictures as we will be getting the team picture in our shirts. If weather is uncooperative, we will hold pictures at the Veteran's Park shelter by the playground.
- Declare for the Miamisburg meet by NOON on Monday (6/9) and West Carrollton by NOON on Wednesday (6/11). The entire season of meets are open for declarations.
- Pool passes need to be purchased by Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Follow the link on the Weekly Gator Bulletin or your confirmation email to purchase Gator passes at our special rate.
- Passes that have been purchased since Time Trials will be mailed to home addresses per the city. However, you can absolutely give your name at the pool front desk if you have not received your pass yet.
- Parrot Swimwear will be available on Tuesday, either at practice OR the meet, depending when we are able to pick up the order.
- Spiritwear from AlleyCat should be ready for distribution later this week. More information to follow in Thursday’s email with meet information.
Additional Information:
- Gators swim caps were handed out at the meet during stretching at time trials; if your swimmer did not get one, we will have them at pictures on Monday morning.
- The restroom trailer should arrive Monday for daily use until the plumbing is repaired. The boys restroom will no longer be of regular use, instead this will be the handicap accessible restroom for the pool. Every meet for the season is open to declare your swimmer. Feel free to declare (attending or not attending) your swimmer for the entire season. You are able to change events once declared up until the declaration deadline. As a reminder, coaches reserve the right to change swimmer events for the meet.
- Volunteer shifts are open for online sign ups. We have several families who still need to pick up their 5 shifts (total between regular season meets and the championship meet).
- Please check your volunteer shifts in preparation for the meets this week. If you have any questions about the roles, please feel free to contact me. If you no longer can fulfill your shift:
- Prior to the day of the meet, you are still able to drop your shift on SwimTopia for others to fill.
- On the meet day, please reach out to us so we can make a backup plan.
- Open Shifts for the Week:
- For the West Carrollton meet, we need: 1- 2nd half timers
Assisted Swimmers: Assisted Swimmers events were sent differently from West Carrollton for our meet Thursday. Event 81 will be girls assisted freestyle and Event 82 will be boys assisted freestyle instead of mixed gender freestyle events.
Meet Information
Specific information for our home meet against Miamisburg (Tuesday) and away meet at West Carrollton (Thursday) will be sent the day of the meet with heat sheets and "Athlete Entries".
We will have food trucks for our home meet. We will also have a drink (water) only concession for Tuesday.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Again, thank you so much to everyone for making time trials a success tonight!!!
Go Gators!
