Gator Families,

We have a fairly quiet week ahead, but lots of meet declarations and RSVPs are coming up. Attached you will find this week's Gator Bulletin (6/30). Due to the holiday this week, no meets are scheduled. We have practice Monday-Thursday this week (no Friday practices due to July 4th.)

Team Dinner Information

Our team dinner at the Veteran's Park Shelter is Thursday, July 10, at 6:30 P.M. After the excitement for Gator Taters last year, we will be continuing the tradition! Please RSVP by Wednesday, July 9, at NOON, so we can ensure that there is enough food to accommodate all who are attending. If family members are planning on eating, please include them in your RSVP/count.

Food Donations

The food sign up has been posted in the Team Dinner event, similar to how you sign up for volunteer shifts for meets. If you are attending, please consider donating an item. All donations of non-cold items need to be given to Ali Delk (or sent to practice) by Thursday morning.

Champs Reminders

- Registration deadline to declare your swimmer is Thursday, July 3 at NOON.

- There is NO ASSISTED SWIMMING (Events 81/82) AT CHAMPS. If your swimmer is assisted, they must swim 1 league meet unassisted to be able to swim at Champs. Again, no catchers will be allowed in the pool during the Championship Meet. If your child is an assisted swimmer, they will be finished with practices on Tuesday, July 8.

Christmas in July Champs Camp Contest

This year the league will be instituting a Christmas in July theme. To get everyone in the spirit feel free to decorate your camp area (where we set up tents and such for Champs).

Spirit Week

Next week (July 7-11), we will be having a spirit week to hype up the week leading to our championship meet. Each day there will be a theme for the day. Friday will be our Coach Appreciation Day. Have the swimmers write a card or draw a picture of what they love most about all of our coaches and junior coaches.

REMINDERS:

- Registration deadline to declare your swimmer is NOON THURSDAY, JULY 3, as we have to get entries to the league. Please make sure to mark them as going or not going, so coaches can plan accordingly. If you do not declare them by this date, we will assume they are not attending the meet as we pay a per swimmer fee for this meet. The league will NOT honor late entries. Coaches may need to move swimmers in events to make sure we have swimmers participating in each event.

- The league is selling spirit ads in the heat sheet/program [no digital heat sheets will be sent out] for the meet. If you would like to place a spirit ad please follow the link below. Each ad is $5. Payments will need to be sent to our PayPal account (memo: Spirit Ad) so we can get one check to the league for all orders placed. The deadline to place a spirit ad is Saturday, July 5 @ 8:00 P.M. with payments made by July 7 at NOON (or ad orders will be canceled).Spirit Ads Order Link. - Declare for the Idle Hour home meet by NOON on Monday (7/7).

- Please RSVP by Wednesday, July 9, at NOON, for the team dinner so we can ensure that there is enough food to accommodate all who are attending. If family members are planning on eating, please include them in your RSVP/count.

Volunteer Information:

• We have a few shifts left for Idle Hour and the Championship meet for families who are still trying to hit their 5 volunteer shifts for the season.  We would be appreciative to everyone who still needs shifts or has not worked any shifts if you would pick up a shift to help out the team.
