Gators Parents,

The season is off to a great start, despite not being able to practice at the Germantown Pool. Thanks to all of you, the swimmers and coaches for your flexibility. The city anticipates the Germantown Pool being open on June 9th, so as of now practices will be held in Farmersville Monday-Thursday this week. If anything changes, we will let you know as soon as possible.

This means we will need to reschedule time trials and team pictures as well. Time trials will be held on Monday, June 12 at 7:00pm and team pictures will be on Friday, June 16 at 8:00am.

Please note: 8 & unders will not have practice this Thursday, June 8, due to a pool scheduling conflict.

If you haven't already done so, please schedule your volunteer shifts for meets as soon as possible. To manage your shifts, log in and go to: https://germantowngators.swimtopia.com/swim_meets. You will see "Job Sign Up" next to each meet, which will show you the shifts you are currently working for that event. If you want to add/delete a shift, click "Sign Up for Jobs" and choose an open shift. If you have any questions, just let us know.

Speaking of volunteer shifts, we have a few VERY IMPORTANT spots to be filled. Please let us know asap if you are willing to serve in one of the following positions, each of which fulfill the work requirement for the entire season:

• Volunteer Coordinator - this person checks in volunteers at the beginning of each shift, making sure we have enough volunteers in each spot.
• Concessions Buyer - this person purchases food at GFS using the team debit card prior to each of the three home meets and stores it in the pool concession stand.
• Concessions Opener - this person sets up and manages the concession stand prior to the three home meets.

Here are a few important pieces of information for the coming week:

• As a reminder, the practice schedule is as follows: 13 & Up 7:30-8:45; 9-12 8:30-9:45; 8 & Under 9:30-10:45.
• Time Trials will be held on Monday, June 12 at 7:00 pm. All swimmers need to attend as the coaches will use the times to determine the line up for next week's meet. Also, volunteer training will be held for the parents at this time.
• Our first meet is on Tuesday, June 13 at 6:00 pm at Miamisburg. Swimmers need to be ready to hit the water for warm ups at 5:30.
• Your swimmers must be signed up for each meet. It's very important that you let the coaches know if your swimmer(s) will or will not be in attendance for each meet. To sign up online, go to http://germantowngators.swimtopia.com/swim_meets and click on "Meet Entry" for each meet and choose "attending" or "not attending." You can edit your entries online until 8am the morning of each meet. After that point, please contact Coach Lemke directly if your availability changes.

• Team pictures will be taken on Friday, June 16 at 8:00 am. Envelopes/order forms will be available at practice.
