2022 Changes to Fees & Deposits

    • Fees this year will be $55 per swimmer.
    • The Volunteer Work Deposit will be $210 per family.
      • The work requirement is 6 standard meet shifts and 1 shift at Championships per family.
      • We will be providing partial credit this year. For each shift you work, $30 of your deposit will be released at the end of the season.
      • You can sign up for volunteer shifts during the registration process.
    • We will be adding a new Pool Pass Deposit, assessed at Gators pool pass pricing.
      • Once you have purchased your pool pass from the city, you can provide us with a copy of your receipt, and we will promptly clear your deposit.
      • Alternatively, we will get a weekly update from the city confirming pool pass purchases, and we will clear deposits as we get confirmation from the city.
      • The cutoff date for purchasing your pool pass will be June 10. If you have not purchased your pass by then, we will capture your deposited funds and provide them to the city to cover the cost of your pool pass.
    • All fees and deposits will be collected via credit card.
      • There will not be any additional fees assessed.

If any of these changes will cause a difficulty for your family, PLEASE reach out to the board - we are more than happy to put alternative arrangements in place on a case by case basis.

Our team has not raised fees in over 5 years. We want membership to be affordable for our families, but we do need to be able to pay our coaches reasonable salaries and our expenses have increased over the years, and we do need to run a balanced budget.

The changes to our deposit structure and fee collection are necessary to facilitate our ability to run team operations smoothly. If you have any questions or concerns about the changes, the board will be happy to discuss your concerns.

We need officials in order to run our swim season! We have to have 4 officials per shift at home meets, and 2 officials per shift at away meets, or we cannot run the meet. In order to officiate, you must complete a training session. The training session takes about 2 hours of prep work plus 2 hours for the session.

New this year! If you officiate for our 2022 season, your first swimmer will swim for free!

If you are willing to officiate for us, please let me know, so that I can provide you with all the training details as soon as we have them available as well as a discount code for your first swimmer's registration fee.

If you have a swimmer in the 13+ age group that is interested in being a trainee for the 2022 season, please let me know by May 8.

We have more exciting things planned for our 2022 swim season that we are excited to share in the coming weeks!

Looking forward to a great season!

    Go Gators!
